The New Year comes at us FAST, and for many of us this is a time to reset, to recharge, to reevaluate. For others it is a time of exasperation, as we feel that sense of overwhelm for things that we feel did not happen over the year prior.
We have chosen to focus on Hope this January. Hope, “a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.” Many people during this time set resolutions, and this can be a good goal setting mechanism for some of us, and for others, this leads to judgment. For many of us a place of hope is through intention setting for the year. An overall feeling, that desire, for something that we would like to live up to, something that we would like to light the way, something that fills us with hope when things get hard.
For those of you who have done this with us before, you may already have your word! Feel free to share it. We would love to know the hopes of our yoga community, there is nothing like having the support of those who are walking the path of hope with us, no matter how different our journeys may ultimately be.

One of the best pieces of advice we can give, is to truly go with that inner voice on this, if more than one pops up, hold those two in a meditation or yoga practice to see which resonates the most clearly, as it will guide your 2019! Feel free to ask us about ours 🙂
